This work concentrates on the utilisation of the new Super-ORRUBA detectors for the measurement of 26Al(d,p)27Al, performed at the Holifield Radioactive Ion Beam Facility in Oak Ridge National Laboratory. This experiment was performed to help reduce the uncertainties in the reaction rate of the astrophysically important 26Al(p,g)27Si reaction. The
angular distributions of the elastic scattering of protons and deuterons from the experiment are presented, along with excitation energy spectra from 26Al(d,p). Angular distributions for some of the states populated in 27Al are compared to preliminary ADWA curves to help with level assignment.
